Leftover Bread Recipes

Homemade croutons

If you have a lot of leftover bread, then you should make croutons! They are incredibly easy to make and they add a little mmph to your main dishes. We like to sprinkle them onto our salads, soups and shakshuka.
Ingredients
- Bread
- Olive oil
- Seasonings (garlic powder, salt, pepper etc.)
- Parmesan cheese (optional)
- Baking paper
Instructions
- Gather your ingredients
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius and prepare your baking tray lined with baking paper
- Dice your bread into small cubes
- Toss with olive oil and seasonings
- Spread the cubes out on a baking sheet
- Bake until crispy, about 10 minutes, and flip them over half way through
- Serve immediately
